Local comedian opened the show. Made fun of himself for being white trash.....and fat......and gay. Pretty funny.

Blues Traveler, headlining band. Not a huge fan prior, nor will I buy any more than the two cd's I own now. But damn! With the buzz I had going by that point, when the fireworks started going off (Camera battery dead by then) seemingly right above the stage roof, it was like they were synced up, and it was incredible! Great performance!!!

I soooo wish I'd had my good set up. This could have been such a badass panorama at night with the fireworks.

Sucks this is the size it displays. It's a little better if you click and enlarge this one. It really is an amazing venue.

So apparently you can't bring any SLR camera's into most live music shows. Bastards!! If I would have known that I would have tried to conceal it better. As it turned out I had to return the D90, and tripod to my car :( Anyway the first 5 here are of the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver Co. taken quite awhile back, put in now just to display the venue a little more. The rest are what I was able to get with my "little" Nikon, in failing light and even faster failing battery, this 4th of July. The pics are lousy, but I had a blast!! I guess they play there every year, I highly recommend it.
Hope everyone had as fun a 4th as I did :)

Cool post, Cory! Was at Red Rocks years ago, but never to a performance there. Looks like you caught some great acts...Lewis Black was in the Springs a few months ago, but I missed him. I love your next to last panorama shot....just wow!!
