First off, let me express my most humble gratitude towards Ruth and Ted for the amazing tribute post they each surprised me and the rest of you with yesterday. I was humbled, shocked, amazed.
Now, onto Turkey Day! Yes, I know I've committed a cardinal sin set by my own standards by using the same song twice - but hey - it was too perfect. Anyway, Thanksgiving Day is here and this poor birdie is officially in the 'defrosting' state getting ready face its ultimate demise. [I know it's already dead.] I'm here at my parents house for the occasion and we'll have a nice eight person feast. All the standards will be on the table.
